Conciliatory Twittervism Because No Time for Essay
I didn't finish that big essay, even though I worked on it a little over the last half hour. I could have finished it tonight, but I'd like to at least try getting to bed at a good time. Nothing too exciting over the last few days except chores and a bit of social media, which does a pretty good job of encapsulating my thinking lately. Thanks so much for clearing that up @realDonaldTrump Nonetheless, thinking about money gets me closer to my conception of wealth comes from giving rather than taking & hoarding. I feel like a breakthrough is ready to pop its head up. After all, I'm writing an essay on a utopian community in which I kinda have to address this stuff. Things that kill US citizens: dismantling SNAP benefits for those who need it. Protesting today is as much about connection as it is about public pressure. Social, TV, radio, & paper media has fragmented us & encouraged discord & argument. When we come together, in the flesh with trust, we can build each other up & maintain each other's hearts & souls. Where is the plan from the Trump Administration to reunite these children with their parents? President Trump created this humanitarian crisis—he hasn’t solved anything. https://t.co/T0eecghsFY White folks: giving money to legal support, Black/indigenous/migrant-led organizing *is* taking action. I get we want to show up and be heroes, but shifting resources (whenever we can) is an important act of justice. We’re...we’re at number 8 aren’t we. pic.twitter.com/fHTMcuuAIM Very important to wrap social justice into everything, otherwise "diversity" can become about things like MBTI type--clarity around what we're talking about is essential #rbms18 Universal Health Care can help create a better, more real meritocracy, too. Why don't rich realize that most of their assets these days have a cost attached to it & isn't real wealth. High taxes & high interest rates create real wealth. @theodinspire, connected to my researching. Oh right, will also need to encourage EVERYONE to put more money into savings accounts & bonds. High interest rates should do that, but many people not used to doing so (either because of more important needs or don't want to think about it). Work to impeach him in 2019. People are seeing that the rhetoric of him, Roseanne, and many others the slippery slope to genocide. [The GOP wants to make us even more into their wage slaves.] For @MarshallProj, @emilykassie and @elibhager obtained never-before-seen security footage from a family detention center where there have been multiple claims of abuse and neglect. https://t.co/2Ger6pxfgW The shouts of "fire" by Trump and his followers in the crowded theater are growing louder. Hopefully enough Dems will win House & Senate & put him in his place, outside of the White House. In my opinion, every person has the right to their culture but not when that culture is inherently looking to destroy other cultures or is OK with escalating tensions except in self defense. Once tensions reach that level, the more powerful aggressor has the responsibility to be the bigger person & take the necessary peaceful steps to make their own side & state stand down & be humble enough to create peace & even promote cultural exchangr to truly appreciate each other's culture as HUMAN PERSON CULTURE. Heck, let's have an Empathy Political Party! I fully acknowledge the cultural issues of this clip. . .but the portrayal of the asshole is way to apt for [45]. This is really how I imagine [45]. Hey everyone: Getting rid of the Apportionment Act of 1911 would be easier and more effective than getting rid of the Electoral College. It would piss off rural voters, but much better overall. M83 is my fallback music this week to feel the happiness and melancholy of existence this week. .@RepMikeQuigley @SenatorDurbin @SenDuckworth I know I'm coming late to this one, but why isn't Congress doing anything about this article using dehumanizing genocide language on the White House website? https://t.co/hYJlt5fxDf 8. We cannot go through our days as if this is business as usual. This is not business as usual. This is Germany before the camps (and I say this as the daughter of a Polish Jewish immigrant and the granddaughter of Polish Jews who lost so many relatives in the Holocaust) #resist From what I read, the restaurant owner seemed pretty polite about the whole thing. Owner could have been very rude about it. https://t.co/qV7BHko9SD 2.Everyone of good conscience: STOP CALLING FOR CIVILITY AND POLITENESS TOWARD THIS ADMINISTRATION. WE CANNOT FIDDLE WHILE ROME BURNS. It is not just inappropriate, it is #complicity, to be polite and civil to fascists, war criminals, human rights abusers, propagandists for them. AND RETAIN OUR EXISTING SEATS. Sarah Sanders on SCOTUS' ruling that a cake baker could turn away a couple wanting a cake for their same-sex wedding: "We are pleased with the Supreme Court’s decision." https://t.co/kGetNd0XrD America, let's be an example to the rest of the world that we can get racists getting ready to do genocide out of office, to inspire others around the world, so we don't have to fight fascists again. Today I met children living in one of the largest Palestinian refugee camps. I need to just stop debating with Bernie-inspired-styled libertarian socialists. They're not listening. [Maybe just a small part in it, but another example of how fiction/poetry can help create a better world. Thank you, Kelly!] BREAKING: Sarah Sanders violated ethics laws by Tweeting this morning from her Official Government account, a direct attack on a private business. jfc. ICE is reportedly dangling family reunification as an incentive to drop asylum claims. This is what our democracy looks like. A crowded and engaging town hall inside with a group listening in from outside after we reached fire code. Good questions, great ideas, incredible Texans ready to get after the work ahead of us. Uniting for our communities, state, & country. pic.twitter.com/LVCrYlBrHF Cynthia Nixon to @theView: "I think we need to abolish ICE."

Now- how about we cover something a bit more important?
- Where are the girls.
- How are you getting families back together
- What’s next… https://t.co/8oinrzrr8g
Things that don’t kill US citizens: making sure that when families cross the border, we keep careful records of who arrived with whom, and doing our best to keep them together.

There will be shenanigans from the other side. Stop assuming you live anywhere safe. Don’t assume a vote is in the bag. Make sure you and your friends are registered. Run registration drives. https://t.co/Ea5g0u7qDy
But the UN body that supports refugees is in crisis after Donald Trump’s decision to withhold funding.
We must lead in ensuring these children have hope, and work to end the refugee crisis. pic.twitter.com/Eo8tEniUZa

I'm sure nothing will be done legally, but as Americans we can take things into our own hands and refused her service EVERYWHERE!
