Some Twittervism for Your Sunday NIght
I have a few interesting things that I plan to type up into an essay, but it will have to wait. It's lateish Sunday night, and I want to try getting a healthy amount of sleep tonight. My latest interpretation of [45] & GOP is that they're a bunch of outlaws that took over a Western town. Sadly, a quick heroic taking back town isn't civilized & would go against the whole smooth transition of power. Ahhh. The "big hit" from tax bill [45] has been talking about is a one-time big retro-tax that multi-nationals will pay for long-term tax savings. Sure, it will provide a boost to deficit payments BUT still not fair AND just kicks can. https://t.co/hLFZ2kSt74 A couple good deep dives into the TPS repeal on El Salvadoran refugees. This issue is deep Cold War that goes back approx 35 years. We shouldn't abdicate responsibility. https://t.co/3zfexUH5RU https://t.co/5OaRGBHmXh What if Russian investigation mostly establishes that [45] adminstration is a bunch of imcompetent idiots & a few charges? https://t.co/uYb4f4GFeU Some Congresspeople working make Net Neutrality the rule again. https://t.co/bBbdf42Cvx [Srsly? Srsly?! He calls African countries "shitholes" then asks why we can't get more immigrants from Norway?! MOST EMBARASSING PRESIDENT IN MODERN US HISTORY!] Trump cites 'shithole countries' as he rejects bipartisan deal - CNNPolitics https://t.co/7n91qC6os2 . . .and make it a part of an immigration bill that's about welcoming people into the country? I would hate to be part of [45]'s base. They just seem really scared & fearful of other people & the world. This kind of behavior from Far Right & Miller feels Deep Statey. Didn't [45] rail against a Deep State some time ago? Long & explicit (especially the first until after the first photograph), but a good portrait of the horrible, hateful Stephen Miller. https://t.co/K1E8tiPjOD Or maybe 8. We've already hit [45] creating a new low (and being enabled my MLK's nephew & the Haitian ambassador, at that!) We may need to have more Stanislov Petrov's in the world, especially now. https://t.co/ExoCdEeiw8 [45] taking credit for economy: classic story of privilege. Bunch of white people ruin the economy, black guy oversees its recovery, then white guy takes credit for the results. Also includes, right after 'Restrictive Covenant' story, the bureaucratic travails that a therapist has in getting onto insurance company networks. This statement is not sarcastic. It's kinda scary how much Frank Herbert predicted a fair amount of the present based on this type of thesis with a couple modifications in the Dune series. But I don't like the idea of reconciliation coming back if earmarks get the most recent budget passed. I'm might possibly be willing to trade reconciliation for publicly disclosed earmarks.
With that in mind, some Twittervism!
